Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette Review & Swatches

I will start this post by simply saying that this palette is one of the most pigmented palettes that you'll ever ever ever see. I got this palette as a Christmas present from my bf and I couldn't wait to try it out. So let's see the amazing packaging in triangular shape: You can tell why it is called "Holographic Palette"!😋 At the back of the package Kat Von D is explaining to us what "alchemy" means. As she mentions, Al-che-my is a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation or combination .  A palette full of mystery and magic..Shall we take a look about what is happening inside this palette? You can find there 4 highlighters: Opal which is a baby pink highlighter. Amethyst which is a lavender/violet highlighter. Saphyre which is a silver blue highlighter. Emerald which is a green highlighter. Check the swatches down below (not by order): Can you tell now why I am so obsessed with the pigmentation of t...

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Concealer Review

It is the second time that I am buying the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer (about 8,00 Euro) and, thank God, at the right shade this time. I have pale skin, so the shade "Light" that I first bought was a little bit dark for me (ironic If you consider the name of the shade, isn't it? 😋). This time I have purchased the #22 Beige Rose shade and I am really happy with the matching. The Instant Anti-Age concealer is actually a big hit for Maybelline as it is considered to be one of the best drugstore concealers on the market and I can confirm that. The product has a medium coverage, but If you want a better coverage, the problem can be solved with just one more layer. Personally, I just apply one layer and I immediately see great results. It doesn't crease into the under-eye lines, it looks natural and it highlights beautifully this area. If you don't have a great need for full coverage and you need something light and quick, you can use this product withou...

Dr.Organic Manuka Honey Face Scrub Review

I was scrubing my face with the Manuka Honey Face Scrub while I was thinking about what should I write today. Well, the answer was right under my nose! Why not writing about this amazing face scrub that I was using the exact moment?! Dr.Organic's products are certified with BioActiv, which means that they are formulated by using organically certified & natural extracts.  Pretty cool right? More specifically, the Manuka Honey Face Scrub (7,72 Euro) contains a minimum of 70% organic ingredients. I can tell you that I am in love with this product! Because  Clarisonic  does all the work when it comes to my skin care, I do not use this scrub really often but when I do, this product totally blows my mind. With ingredients such as manuka honey, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, grape seed oil etc, it has an amazing smell and it leaves the skin hydrated, extremely soft and very clean. I would like to let you know that till now, only two products have managed to leave my face...

Essence I ❤ Extreme & The False Lashes Mascaras Review

Today, I am gonna tell you about my most favourite drugstore mascaras ever. They are both from Essence, which has very affordable products and it is a brand that I really appreciate for the quality of its products and of course for the AMAZING prices. I used to buy drugstore mascaras from Maybelline that were really really good and I was really happy with them but they cost me about 10,00 Euros, which is still a good price but definitely not as good as the Essence mascaras which cost less than 4,00 Euros .   The mascaras that I want to tell you about, is the "I Love Extreme" crazy volume mascara and "The False Lashes" extreme volume and curl mascara. The "I Love Extreme" (12 ml) mascara promises extreme, crazy volume and ultra black lashes. It does keep its promises as it gives you dramatic results and it makes your lashes super black with a magnificent volume. It is absolutely amazing when it comes to volume but do not expect dramatic results wh...

Studio Pro Sleek It Review

Let me tell you about my hair. My hair is curly and dry. I know...a hell of combination! You can tell that they need constantly hydration so I am always in the search for new products that will make my hair look decent. A year ago, I decided to cut my hair at shoulder height and I wanted it sleek and straight. So, I bought the Studio Pro Sleek it ultra smoothing cream by L'oreal which protects the hair up to 230 degrees Celsius. It has 150 ml of product and it costs just 3,41 Euro! But..what about the results? As I've written above, I purchased this product a year ago. Since then, I keep buying it. I don't use it only when I am wearing my hair straight but I am also applying it every time that I am just using the hairdryer to dry my hair and won't style them at all.  It leaves my curls very hydrated and it protects them from the dry air.  But now, let's talk about the main purpose of the product, the hair straightening.  It actually does help a lot on ...

The Ordinary 100% Squalane Review

I have heard about The Ordinary company some really nice things, about how inexpensive their products are but also about the top quality of them, so I thought that I should give a try to a product of this company, the 100% Squalane oil. First of all, let me tell you some things about the squalane oil and its benefits. Squalane oil is plant-derived and it has some great benefits on the skin and also on the hair. It moisturises and leaves the skin and the hair super hydrated. You can use it also on your lips to make a perfect lip conditioner. Try it on dry elbows or knees to find out how different these areas are going to look after just a few hours. You can also use it as a base for your makeup and you'll have a flawless and glowy effect all day.  Let me tell you now about the specific Squalane oil from The Ordinary. I have bought it for 6,50 Euro and it has 30 ml in it which I think is a decent amount of product for these money. The package is really careful. The squala...

Zoeva Contour Spectrum Palette Review

The Zoeva Contour Spectrum Palette is a beautiful and inexpensive palette. I have bought this palette for 17.10 Euro and I think that it is definitely value for money. First of all, the package is really beautiful and convenient. The package has 4 shades: A warm shade bronzer which is perfect for the summer days and nights. It gives the skin a beautiful tanning effect. An amazing cool brown contour shade which is perfect for sculpturing the face. It blends really well, it is really pigmented and really feels like a high-end product even if it is so inexpensive. It suits really well for pale skin tones as well. A golden highlighter which is very pigmented and beautiful. It is absolutely not the typical silver/white highlighter but it makes for sure the difference on the face. A banana shade powder which is ideal for setting the under-eye area or even the whole face. The Zoeva Contour Spectrum Palette is a great affordable choice that really competes the high-e...

Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo Review

I will start this post by letting you know that my hair was pretty damaged about a year and a half ago so i decided to cut them to the shoulders and take serious care of them. That was the moment when I was searching about shampoos without sulfates, so I thought that I should give a try to the Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo. I have purchased the 300 ml shampoo for 15,78 Euro. I would say, pretty expensive for a 300 ml shampoo. The perfume of it, is fruity and exotic. You will not need a big amount of product to wash your hair and that is something that i really liked in this product because most of the shampoos without sulfates need a huge amount of product to wash properly the hair and remove all the dirt. It definitely made a big difference to my hair from the very first time. My hair was smoother, lighter and more glowy. I kept using it but I didn't really see any spectacular improvement in my hair. Till now, I have used 3 different shampoos without any sulfates and it is b...

Clarisonic Mia 2 Review

You know it is the most famous cleansing device in the world, that's way it is also one of the most expensive cleansing devices on the market. I really wanted to purchase it since..well, forever! So, when I found out that it had a 30% discount on Sephora ( I bought it for 98,00 Euro), I knew that it was finally the time to get my Clarisonic.  I have it for about 4 months now and I am really excited to share my review with you. Let me start by telling you what are the steps before using Clarisonic. I am removing most of the make up on my face with  Garnier Micellar Water   I throw some lukewarm water on my face and I also wet the Clarisonic brush I put the  Apivita Cleansing Foam (Gel)  on the Clarisonic brush and I use the 20'' on my chin and nose, 20'' on my forehead and 10'' on each of my cheeks. The first time that I've used it, I saw immediately smoother skin and more radiant complexion. Even when you think that you have removed all the...
